OUR STORY

Since our inception in 2015, iAthletic have been growing at rapid pace. We are established as one of Australia’s leading suppliers of sports apparel. Driven by a shared passion for basketball, our goal is to provide customers with top quality goods, unique designs, excellent service, and on time delivery.

Our supply range includes basketball uniforms, team apparel, and merchandise, encompassing all aspects of custom teamwear and streetwear.

Supplying gear to the likes of Melbourne United, S.E.M. Phoenix, Sydney Kings, The WNBL League, Basketball Australia, and many Junior and Senior teams across all levels of domestic, representative, and state level basketball. We are a name to be recognised.

OUR TEAM

DAVID BIWER - Owner

David is a US born basketball player who came to Australia 28 years ago with the Shoalhaven Tigers to try his luck in the Australian basketball scene.

David went on to win 1 NSW State Championship, 3 SEABL titles, 3 MVPs & then headed the Hobart’s Devil bid to play in the the NBL in 1998. During this time, he also spent 12 years as GM of Tasmanian Seafoods, helping them grow from a $26m/annum to a $63m/annum company. In 2003, he moved to Melbourne, played 2 years in the NBL with the Victoria Giants until finally retiring from basketball and moving into the athletic apparel industry.

For 12 years he represented major American brands such as Under Armour, New Era and AND1, managing their Australian connections.

SIMON CONN, Owner

Simon grew up playing basketball in Melbourne at various domestic and representative clubs from an early age.

He started playing basketball professionally 14 years ago in the SEABL for Dandenong Rangers. He then went to NCAA Division 1 College in America for 4 years, played professionally in Europe for 3 years and returned to the Rangers to win a Big V championship. After 3 years back in SEABL playing for Sandringham Sabres, has played the past 4 years at the Nunawading Spectres earning 2 conference titles, 1 SEABL championship, 7 All-Star appearances, and 1 MVP award. He is now playing for Waverley basketball association in the NBL1 league at the age of 39.

From 2009 – 2013 Simon was Operations Manager at Screenplay Screen Printing, one of Australia’s premier Screen Printing Manufacturers.

OUR FACILITY

With a large warehouse, boardroom, and office space in Thornbury, alongside a screen-printing facility in Brunswick East, iAthletic is situated to succeed. The business is easily accessible to any team, club, or partner, as well as carries replenishment stock and provides quick turnaround times for those emergency situations when you require product in a hurry.
